Supported work, clearly identified
Synchronisation sends supported changes when connectivity returns. Edge Sync distinguishes sync-backed pending work from changes that remain local-only. Check that pending work has synchronised before changing devices.
Not every web function works offline, and not every local change synchronises. Timetable publication remains cloud-only. Review the required workflows with the implementation team.

Windows Desktop is an access method for the connected platform.
Optional LAN-enabled deployment
Authorised devices connect over the school network after a deployment review. Network configuration and assistance are separately agreed.
Before installing
The existing installation guide is the source for setup and upgrade instructions.
- Windows 10 or 11, x64; at least 8 GB RAM and 5 GB free disk space.
- A Windows Administrator account and PostgreSQL 18 installed first.
- Internet for initial enrolment and the school snapshot; school Edge entitlement and a valid enrolment code.
- Activate eligible staff offline access and test a supported change after setup.
